There’s so much you can do for your zombie costumes as the above advice should hopefully have enlightened you. 1. You can and really should keep your zombie clothes in the trash overnight to add some stink to them, or better yet you could bury them in the garden. After all, a large proportion of zombies do indeed scratch their way out from the ground.
2. Which is why many zombies have red fingers from scratching out through their coffins, this process can take many months to accomplish which explains why they’re always so hungry. So why not dip the tips of your fingers in red food dye?
3. Any clothes you wear should have rips and tears in them. This is fairly obvious. You should also use your red food dye to strategically place blood on any white shirts you’re wearing. A quick and unrelated fact about red food dye and one you could tell your mates at the party. Where does red food dye come from? The answer is of course crushed Beatles! If you don’t believe me then look it up!
4. You need to try and make your skin look horrible! Get some mashed potato and dye it a green or grey color! Mash it up real good! Then paste it onto your face! Let it set, this usually takes about ten minutes. Then peel it off! You’ll now have a flaky appearance to your skin, not to mention you’ll now smell like a zombie. Any green/grey zombie makeup you use should be put on over this! Don’t forget to use the potato on any exposed skin too!
5. Once you’re all dressed up you should have a quick nap before heading out! When you wake you’ll feel like crap and probably look even more crap! Your hair will be ruffled and your voice won’t make much sense! Now’s the time to go to the party! Remember that this is the one party occasion where the whole idea is to look as bad as possible!
6. If you’d like to enforce a limp to make you walk more like a zombie without even having to try then you should place padding in just one of your shoes.
7. Wear some of your Father’s aftershave! This stuff usually stinks to high heaven!
