4th July is a time to celebrate Americas independence with your friends and family. Why not celebrate in style this year with a 4th July party?

If not then try and find a park with the largest picnic table you can find, spread yourselves out, let the dogs of the lead and prepare for some fun.

4th July Party Invitations

Hand out the invitations a week before on little American flags. Of course there are many other things you can use for your invites and this is your chance to be creative and show everyone you’re serious about being patriotic. You can send out your invites on anything American.

You should also create a Facebook group for you party! This will get everyone excited at an early stage! In addition your Facebook group can keep everyone updated on any changes to plan. You can also use the group after the party to upload any images and video as a permanent reminder of your fun day!

4th July Party Costumes

1. Instruct that everybody has to come dressed in red, white and blue. If not then here are some pretty cool 4th July Party Costumes!

2. Have some face paints so the kids can have the American flag painted on their faces.

3. There are many American wrestler costumes you could wear.

4. How about coming as your favorite Hollywood movie character.

5. You could even stoke up some tension for your party by coming dressed up as a British redcoat! I’m sure you’re aware of your history, but 4th July was the day America gained its independence from those dastardly British. Coming as a British redcoat will let everyone know you’re up for a laugh!

4th July Party Decorations

1. You can line the patio or walk up to your house with small American flags.

2. Make sure you have a large flag for your wall outside.

3. Fireworks are a must if your party is to run into the night. Make sure they are red, white and blue ones.

4. Get a few squirt guns. Have a red team and a blue team where each team gets to squirt red and blue water on the opposition. Food dye will work great for this but make sure you’re not wearing your best clothes!

4th July Party Food

1. The food must of course be all American. Start off with water mellon. You can have a seed-spitting contest!

2. Make sure you have a full assortment of American nibbles such as pretzels, popcorn, potato chips and nuts.

3. You should also have a few bowls filled with fruit; melon, pineapple, mango, strawberries and blueberries.

4. The best option for food is BBQ food! Burgers, sausages, chicken wings, short ribs etc.

5. Bake a cake, use strawberries and blueberries for the stars and stripes. Remember, there were only 13 original states.

6. Apple pie and gelatin deserts in patriotic colors will work well.

4th July Party Drink

There are many great American drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic that you should bring to the party. Here is a list that you should look into:
